Hello Everyone, and Happy Summer!
As we look to plan out our summer, I'd like you to consider helping us at the annual Back to School program for low income families in our county. This program is held in partnership with Kewaunee County Public Health. Families are invited based on income. The afternoon program outfits the kids with all essentials needed to start the upcoming school year. Each year, Literacy Partners provides volunteers to help distribute a new pair of shoes to each child, books to take home (free of charge) and new dental supplies. The program takes place on Wednesday, August 16 from Noon - 5 pm. Tuesday morning (August 15), we will be setting up from around 8:30-10 am.
Below is a link to sign up for a shift. We need help manning the Soles4Souls booth (like always), as well as dental supplies and health literacy education tables.
